Loose lips sink ships

Communities are so funny; they're formed on the core thesis that a set of humans like each other / have common or vested interests, then decide to come together as a collective

But the actual bonding happens through such disgusting means; common enemy, constant back-bitching, gossiping

Common Enemy

Every community has subsets of groups; each group has different members with slightly different perspectives, interests, and often times common hatred towards certain individuals

Hate (and even love) is such a strong emotion; strong enough to facilitate quick advancement of a relationship status as a stranger to even best friend

The feeling of you saying things you "shouldn't" about someone you both know, the act of implicitly "trusting" someone so as to bestow upon them a certain juicy tidbit; it's such a fascinating concept

Endless Bitching & Gossiping

Even among subsets, often times, there are overlapping subsets or even furthermore subsets

Here another binding force is exchange of information (gossip)

It's the same concept as before; saying things you "shouldn't"

Takeaway

There is no takeaway

I, as an individual, am stuck in a conundrum

To bitch, or not

How do you bond instantly with others if not over common hatred / gossip

Though on the other hand, how do you prevent the exchange from thereafter biting you in the ass?
